How I Eat Like A King On The HCG Diet

Dining every night of the HCG Diet on foods so delicious that it could be called “food of the gods” without exaggerating?

On this diet? Are you kidding me?! Nope, see for yourself.Eating Like A King On My HCG Diet

Ahhh… nectar of the gods. I kid you not. The Redhead has whipped up another fantastic batch of new foods this week.

Here’s just a sample of this week’s new HCG Diet menu choices (she’s on her Round 2, me, I can eat whatever the hell I want):

  • Chinese Hot Mustard
  • BBQ Sauce (I will never buy this from the store ever again — it’s that good!)
  • Teriyaki Chicken
  • Mashed Potatoes
  • Strawberry Ice Cream Sorbet

And last month she created Turkey Meatballs that are not only mouth-watering, but easy to use. Just pop 3 into bowl and you know you have your 100 grams of meat for that meal without having to measure it. Bonus if you’re a guy and have my schedule.

Does this chick just ROCK, or what?!

Of course if you’re not currently on the HCG Diet then feel free to pop in a few more… what’s the harm?

Oh yeah, did I mention all these are tremendously low-fat? Well, kinda goes without saying because in order for them to be fully HCG Diet Phase 2 compliant, then by definition, they HAVE to be low-fat.

After me on 3 rounds of the HCG Diet (where I shed 157 pounds, remember),  we did her first round and my third together. After such a long stretch of time, with one or the other on the HCG Diet, we both learned to cook in such a healthy, low-fat (low on the bad fats, high on the good fats) way that still allows us to feel like we’re dining like royalty.

And all of her Phase 2 HCG Diet recipes and Phase 3 HCG Diet recipes are culinary concoctions conducive to most diets, but so delicious (God, my mouth is watering just writing this!) that we still eat them when we’re not on the HCG Diet.

Yeah, THAT good.

And I don’t need to tell you what eating delicious, healthy HCG diet recipes like this does for any rapid weight loss diet (HCG or otherwise) and beyond — out into the rest of your life, do I? I wasn’t being flip in the opening when I said I can eat whatever I want.

Between HCG recipes like this and a reset metabolism that hums along pretty much the way it did in my twenties — I can eat whatever I want. Yet, I continue to choose (mostly) to eat in a conscious and healthy way.

And this from a guy who grew up hating veggies.

Seriously, we eat like this every night. Whatta hard life, eh?

My only regret? Well, complaint actually…

“Why the hell didn’t she create all these great recipes when **I** was on the HCG Diet? Huh? Answer me that, Missy!”

Geez, I’m getting cranked up just thinking about it. But never fear, I would never bite the chef’s hand that feeds me (literally). Mama Terry didn’t raise no dummy.

So, are you interested in some recipes?

    Hello Walter,
I would be very appreciative of any advice that you could give me about the HCG Protocol (including those yummy recipes mentioned above). I am on my first round of HCG. Currently on day 8 of injections (6 of VLCD). I went to a local clinic to purchase a 23 day round of HCG. I started the protocol at 158 with a goal of 140. I was very active and did weights 4 days a week and cardio 6 days.  Before beginning the protocol, my diet was both low carb and low calorie. So, on the gorge days, I gained a total of 10 pounds. Of course, I freaked out before I saw in the P&I book where Dr. S says you should lose any weight gained in the first 48 hours. Can you believe that he was right?? I lost 9.4 lbs in the first two days!!

Anyway, I am working on reading all of your blog posts. Unfortunately, it seems like a lot of them are teasers. How can I get all of the tips that you have learned along the way??

I want to be sure that I will be successful at losing 1 lb a day.

Thanks in advance for any help that you can provide!!!

    > Unfortunately, it seems like a lot of them are teasers.

Really?! Since you didn’t give specifc examples then it’s impossible to address the charge in any responsible way. In general, there are some things I cannot go more in-depth on, things like recipes are up to the Redhead to make public (if I do it then I’m exiled to the couch and/or doghouse — I did that once… never again), and most often I don’t want to spend several thousand words talking about something my subscribers don’t care about.

It would be more constructive for you to tell me what you want to see more of here. Overall, a large part of my intent is to expand the bubble of what many assume is THE LAW regarding the HCG Diet and protocols. To dust it off after 60 years… to challenge research that has since been turned into dogma (Dr. Simeons would have hated that, it’s anti-science) and update it into the 21st century.

I can tell you’re new here, Tiffany because you’re using a clinic (not something I recommend) and you have a very aggressive workout routine, also something not recommended. In fact, between the HCG Diet Straight Truth fan page and this blog, Diane, Susan, Gloria and I have covered this in detail.

Hope that clears up any misperceptions.

Walter, thank you so much for your quick response!  I hope that I did not offend you!!  This is your (free to us) blog and you are doing a great service to those of us who are lost! I have mad respect for you, your accomplishments, and your will to spread the truth!

You are absolutely correct!! I found your blog only yesterday! I wish I had found it earlier, but I am sort of lucky… My clinic was on the lower end of the prices you mentioned in one of your blogs. Luckily, they didn’t make me do any cleanses prior to beginning the protocol. However, they did give me an altered eating plan, but I decided to follow P&I (exactly as directed) instead. Which makes me think of a question… You mentioned that you had better success not following it exactly. Did I miss your post about where you deviated from the plan?

I figured I might, but when I read that you did P90X while in P2, I thought working out hard might have been the key to your success on your final round. I thought that I read every post on your blog as well as your fb page. Sorry, but can you enlighten me as to where to look for the info?

I understand you on that one!!! I have sent my hubby there over less!! However, I would suggest that she create a cookbook. I know there would be enough demand!!! :)

<<>> Yes, I would like to read more of that!! ;)

Also, I would LOVE to get more info about being coached!!

I’m sending my mom, dad, sister, and brother-in-law to your blog. Also, since I am only doing the 23 day injections from the clinic, I wanted to see if you would advise doing another 23 days of the sublingual hcg that you recommend (without interruption). If so, I’m going to go ahead and order it so I’ll get it in time.

    Thanks again!!!!!!

Thanks for your good words, Tiffany. I do appreciate them. I didn’t realize you were THAT new to the blog, I think I had you mixed up w/another Tiffany from several months ago. My bad and my apologies.

Some of the food deviations are in there — the BBQ sauce, the yogurt dessert, and having more than a tablesppon of milk a day. frankly I haven’t heard from you readers that you wanted to know more, so I threw a few things out that I knew I would have been interested in, no one responded, so I thought there was something else they wanted to hear about.

Which is one of the primary reasons I’m doing the survey.

While on the HCG, moderation in the exercising is key. Especially, yoga which will tighten up the loose skin faster than anything I’ve seen. Left to its own devices, your body will lag behind in compensating for all the sudden excess skin.

Thanks for letting me know I can deviate . . . my half & half is something I can’t give up! I use Truvia sweetener, have you tried it? If so, what do you think. I also have pure and flavored stevia, but the taste never really gets better!

Actually I don’t recommend Truvia at all because it has one of the artificial sweetners that’s really bad for you. Don’t remember which one and I’m not at home with my resources. It’s like I tell everyone, “You will come to love the stevia.” The Redhead resisted for the longest time and now, as I predicted, she too worships at the alter of stevia. So I guess that makes it Stevia.

  • MarshaK

YES!!! Would love some recipes. Especially from someone who has successfully completed and from someone currently in the middle of HCG protocol. I am not a cook, so I don’t get the creative juices going in the kitchen. I also don’t like trying 5 recipes before I get a good one. So tried and true recipes—-bring em on! :) Thanks.

  • http://www.gutlessinseattle.com Coach Walter

Thanks, DB. Your kind and encouraging thoughts are much appreciated.

  • Cmvfromtexas

I am soooo interested in some recipes. I’m doing plain jane stuff right now and I’m fine wth that for now. But I know I’ll get bored with that as time goes on. I’d like a protocol legal dressing for my raw spinach – some seasoning ideas.

  • Ashl Lucas

I need reciped! please!! i am needing something with my turkey hamburger… and sweet omgosh i crave! i am on my 4th day. please help ash.lucas@yahoo.com

  • http://www.gutlessinseattle.com Coach Walter

What kind of HCG are you using? Rx or homeopathic? And at only 4 days in you should not be having cravings and new recipes.

  • Susan

Interested in recipes? Of course I am. I scoured the internet and gathered up over 300 recipes for phase 2 but I can tell that they weren’t created by people actually following the protocol. Let’s just say they’re not exactly appetizing. It would be wonderful to have recipes that I know are actually edible and have been enjoyed by others who have lost successfully.

  • http://www.gutlessinseattle.com Coach Walter

Well you’re in the Jan coaching program, Susan so you’ll have recipes, food lists, shopping lists and how-to cooking videos where the Redhead cooks right with you and takes you grocery shopping. From P2-P4, you’ll have the food angle covered.

  • Susan

Give the Redhead a little love for me, will ya? I can’t wait for January!!

  • Kathy D

Absolutely would love to have as many recipes as you will share.

  • Becca B

    Walter,
Are you still willing to share some of those fantastic recipes, or are they now reserved for those in the coaching program? If that’s the case, I understand, but I’m sad to be missing out! Wish I could afford to have you as a coach, as you know from my FB posts, but as it is, I’m watching through the window and gleaning all the info I can get from this blog (rereading it all a second time!) and trying not to abuse the privledge of your time on FB! Thanks for everything!

  • http://www.gutlessinseattle.com Coach Walter

Becca, Have you looked through the Gutless blog yet?

  • Dunksquared

Of course we want to know the recipes!!! I will be starting ph 3 in 3 days and need all the help I can get. I am pleased with the amount of weight I lost on ph 2 (20 lbs) for 30 days, but i know that this next phase will be very important to stay successful. Please give us some recipes. Thanks. dee dee

  • Megsaccents

Hi Walter! I’d love to see your recipes. Cooking is a joy to me and I’ve come up with some recipes, but only am abiding by the very strict guidelines of foods. Just found your blog yesterday, and yes, am in CA and will order from the site recommended. Would love to see some of the zesty redheads recipes….thanx, in advance. M

  • http://www.gutlessinseattle.com Coach Walter

I’m more curious what you’re so desperate for recipes. The internet is lousy with tons of free recipes. So… why so desperate?

  • Susan L.

If you’re doing the hcg diet right, you won’t need a bunch of recipes. You’ll enjoy food for what it is . . . fuel. I’m in Walter’s current coaching program and threw out the collection of 300+ recipes I’d gathered.

  • Amy

Wow I would love to have some of these recipes.  This is my second time on this diet and I am getting very tired of eating the same bland salads and chicken everyday.
