There’s High-Purity HCG and the there’s regular strength HCG — which is better for your HCG Diet journey?
How about neither? We’ll get to that in a minute.
Supposedly, one’s more expensive than the other, just as Extra Strength Tylenol costs a few bits more than regular Tylenol.
But… is it worth the money?
That was the question and this started out as the answer to a challenge on my HCG Diet: The Straight Truth page on Facebook, but when I went to answer it, I started channeling Edward R. Murrow and before I knew it I had maxed out Facebook’s tiny comment field.
Anyway, this person declared…
“I have been on the phone with Pharmacy Escrow they tell me there is no difference between High Purity or the other HCG they have for the hcg diet. I have been reading several forums where people say they are hungier on the High Purity. I see they have a Hucog High Purity. I did okay with regular Hucog my first go round. Sorry but I am just wanting to know which one to get so I don’t waste my money.”
First of all, let me address her ‘being on several hcg diet forums and they claim they were hungrier on the High-Purity HCG.
B.S., I say. In working with thousands of folks on the HCG Diet, I have never found that was the case.
As a general rule, all other things being the same, the more potent the HCG that gets into your body, the more fat and inches are lost, and yes hunger as well.
HCG Diet’s “High-Purity” HCG Myth
First of all, there’s no such thing as “high-purity HCG.” It’s a marketing ploy to charge more money for the same cheap HCG. However some HCGs are stronger, more potent than others and to find out just how much so, the most reputable companies furnish their COA (Certificate Of Analysis). Take a look at the updated COA on my Nu Image page.
That’s a quick and dirty way to find out if you’re buying your HCG from an overseas pharmacy because they will never give you their COA because they don’t have one. While it is a requirement to have one here in the States because of the FDA, once you leave the U.S. it’s anything goes.
Oh, I’ve had people claim this or that HCG was causing their hunger while on the HCG Diet protocols, but usually it turned out there were doing other things that were actually causing the hunger.
Things that, when they quit doing them, they were no magically longer hungry and they were using the same HCG during that HCG Diet round. Go figure.
The Smartest Thing To Do On Your HCG Journey…
Secondly, when you’re on the HCG Diet, the smartest thing you can do is wean yourself off these misguided forums, Facebook pages and all those mommy and daddy hobby blogs.
They’re crazy-making with their lack of verifiable facts and ‘he said, she said’ anecdotal chatter on what does and does not work. Just because someone says it’s true on YouTube is not the same as actually being true.
During the first round of my HCG Diet journey, I soon quit going to these HCG hangouts because there was so much “noise” there and very little fact. The deluge of misinformation nearly ruined my HCG Journey just two weeks in.
Like I still sometimes do, just think how much weight I would have lost in my first round if I had known how to sort the experienced from the know-nothings. I was still able to shed 60 lbs., but maybe I would have only needed two rounds instead of three.
I try not to think about it too much. 😉
But my “radical opinions” got me banned on one of them.
And today it’s with no small amount of schadenfreude that, while I’ve kept my weight off during all these years, many of them are still hanging out in these places all day long still go on the HCG Diet once or twice a year because they could never stabilize and keep the weight off.
One of them, is gearing up for her SIXTH round of the HCG Diet and she only had 75 pounds to lose! Do the math — if she lost an average of 20-30 lbs each HCG Diet round…

But I digress… back to this woman’s claim — someone told her there was no difference between the two different kinds of HCG.
Bottom-line, as our HCG Diet Success Made Easy coaching members and thousands of others have learned, and as our independent testing has shown time and again — the more potent the HCG, the more fat and inches you lose.
I do hope that clears things up for her (and for you too, in case you were wonderin’) and now I hope she has a better idea of how to allocate her money so she can leverage her time/s on the HCG Diet to her maximum advantage.
But ya know… I find it funny that people shop for the cheapest HCG they can find, like they were getting motor oil at a HCG Diet Wal-Mart. It’s one of those things that are funny and not so funny at the same time. I mean, my God, they even create videos about finding the cheapest HCG.
Not the best, mind you and not the most effective — but the cheapest. Sheesh…
Here’s how I see it — look, you’re injecting or ingesting pharmaceuticals into your body for that round of the HCG Diet. Not something you should do lightly.
Do you really want to buy from someone who advertises as the low-cost leader? I don’t. And I never did except one time and since I didn’t lose the huge amounts I had previously enjoyed, then it was always a nagging doubt in the back of my mind: “Did I not lose as much on that HCG Diet round because I went cheap?”
There’s that and if you’re doing the HCG Diet correctly, the way it was meant to be done, then you have only a finite number of rounds on it. For example, I maxed out at 3 rounds, there was no way I had enough fat to lose to do more.
Don’t you owe it to yourself to stack every, single advantage in your favor and use the most potent HCG you can lay your paws upon during each round of your HCG Diet journey? Now I know there are a couple of pessimistic naysayers out there who’ll snipe back (but never to my face) that ‘of course I going to say that, because I have an referral relationship with them.’
And yet, I have a reputation and the experience for knowing what works and what doesn’t on the HCG Diet and usually why. Everything I talk about and say is true is fact because I and many others have tested different variations out until we found what worked and what didn’t.
Then, I had them do more of what worked and less of what didn’t. And amazing fat loss on every HCG Diet round is always results from that.
Seems like common sense to me. But then, I’m never going to be on the HCG diet ever again. Won’t need to be. I wonder how many of the naysayers will be able to look back and say that?
They just keep taking it off, cheating, failing to stabilize, pack it back on plus more, wait six weeks and do it all over and over again — but there’s a problem with doing the HCG diet that way.
That is very, very hard on your body and if they would listen to me, I’d tell them to stop doing that right now. That much yo-yoing on and off the HCG Diet is almost as detrimental to their health as being overweight in the first place! (click to Tweet)
