Pigging Out After The HCG Diet – How Your Brain Hurts You

hcg diet-hcg drops-lose weight fastOn or off the HCG Diet, it spells trouble for you.

Yes, it’s the Double Trouble Twins, it’s the Twin Harbingers of Doom (I know, I should write for Marvel Comics, right?).

What are they?

  1. Pigging out.
  2. Not exercising.

It’s like the Doublemint Twins… only more evil. Triply evil for any HCG Diet journey!

According to this study published in Nutrition and Metabolism – if you pigout and don’t exercise, even for as little as 4 weeks — it will be… harder to lose the weight from that binge and then keep it off.

Though they’re not talking about the HCG Diet, these are the realities of real-life eating after you’re off your HCG Diet journey and onto Phase 4 and beyond.

Outside the HCG Diet, in the real world, we all have these events in our lives in one form or another:

  • that string of parties from Thanksgiving through New Year’s
  • the first few weeks of college life
  • those three-week cruises with their daily smorgasbord of all-you-can-eat buffets

Your job is to stack the odds in your favor, otherwise, you wasted all the time, energy, money and sacrifice going on the HCG Diet –for nothing.

But it’s a problem, isn’t it? The fact of the matter that no one wants to face is this happens after your HCG Diet journey.

Face it, true believers, what’s the point of gaining control of your weight if you can’t pigout every now and then? I think it should be mandatory that everyone’s entitled to one pigout every 30 days at least, don’t you?

I don’t know about you but I have no intention of going through the rest of my life and never have a guilt-free, worry-free periodic pigout (says the Master of Alliteration).

The Study – What It Means To The HCG Diet

A team of researchers from Linköping University, Sweden, asked 18 people to stop exercising and “pigout” for 4 weeks (increasing their food intake about 70% of their norm).

A separate control group ate and exercised as normal.

What Do The Results Mean For The HCG Diet?

Those who did the 4 week pigout gained an average of 14 pounds.

During the 6 month follow-up, only 1/3 were back to within 1 pound of their initial body weight. At the 1-year mark, the pigout group were still about 3.3 pounds heavier than before their 4 week binge.

And the control group? No change in the body weight.

Some Other Things To Keep In Mind, HCG Diet-wise…

One important caveat, even if have a moderate exercise regimen (as long as it’s at least 4 times a week), this study doesn’t really apply to you because it was only done on sedentary people.

According to Dr. Marc Siegal, binge eating over time — minimum two times per day on fast food can not only pack on an additional 10 lbs within 4 weeks; it also sets up a destructive neurochemical cascade effect in your brain.

A cliche, but culturally-accepted proof is the saying, “A moment on the lips a lifetime on the hips.”

You’ve heard this from folks going through the HCG Diet, right? Other diets, too.

That’s one form of a neurochemical cascade that sets up in your brain. The constructive variation is exercising often. Frequent exercise breaks the old destructive neurochemical cascade in the brain and sets up a new one – one that’s conducive to a long time and a high quality of life.

I had what I thought was a secret pigout strategy, one that makes it easier to take it off and keep it off. But then the other day I learned that Sly Stallone has a similar strategy and he used it to get into shape for The Expendables while being able to enjoy his pigouts at the same time.

But the key to all of this is to be able to make certain key distinctions. None of this is new information, but if the information is placed in front of you and in just the right way, you’ll make distinctions that you were making before and things become easier, or they happen faster, better, whatever.

Think of it like this — you’re driving along and your car has manual steering.

In order to turn your car to the right, you have to really crank that wheel over and it requires a fair amount of upper body strength to accomplish that task.

If you have power steering, then you can make the same turn nearly effortlessly — with just two fingers. Why? Because some genius figured out the principle of leverage and built that into the steering mechanism. Power or manual steering — you can still turn your car, it’s all a matter of how difficult it is to do that.

What I’ve attempted to give is ways to make key distinctions that you weren’t making before and leverage them to lose the max weight while on the HCG Diet and then furthering that leverage so that you never, ever gain it back.

So, wondering what you got out of this study, and the commentary afterwards? What did you learn from it that you could use after your HCG Diet journey is over?

How can you use it to have your metaphorical cake and eat it too (sorry, couldn’t resist. You know I have no self-control!)

Please remove me from your mailing list. Although I read your disclaimer about being remunerated for promoting the pharmacy site, I am further disturbed by your sales of hCG (HCG) drops side by side with supposed pharmceutical grade hCG. I believe, based on the limited information you provide, that the drops are homeopathic “memory water” drops usually processed with a concentration of appox. 13% alcohol. Alcohol destroys the hCG hormone on contact – further homeopathic HCG in various concentrations if it can be measured, is in parts per billion. Often times other substances are discovered first in the products before HCG – if its found at all. Prescription hCG drops dispensed by a pharmacist are in higher than usual concentrations because body chemistry breaks down and destroys part of the product during absorption. The scammers often ask the reader to look at the results – which does not account for the fact that no measurable concentration of HCG can be found in the users body. Pharmaceutical grade can be tested in urine with an over the counter pregnancy test which looks for hCG in the urine – male or female. Further, the Simeon diet specifies 125 IUs per dose which simply can not be in anyway measured in the non prescription hCG or the body of the user. Including the Simeon diet in any discussion about non prescription drops is a sham – homeopath drops have nothing to do with the original very precise dose as outlined in the diet. This fact alone disqualifies you as a legitimate advocate and identifies you as a salesman seeking profit from buyer ignorance. There are numerous medical studies that show that any type of hCG (HCG) – pharmaceutic or drops – does not work any different than diet or diet and placebo. The body lapses into ketosis and begins to feed on itself if the Simeon diet is followed. If you sell test strips, they are no doubt designed to determine ketosis and not hCG. If you are aware of these facts, you are asking people to follow a very specific diet with no nutrition releasing medication as support. Is this a disregard for a person’s health and well being for the sake of profit? If so, go buy something nice for yourself today and be thankful that vulnerable people acting on hope are helping with your purchase.

    Duane,
All you’ve succeed is embarrassing yourself in public. As usual, you’re spouting off without reading anything I’ve written. I am the leading OPPONENT of homeopathic HCG on the Internet. Have you read NOTHING here.. on the Facebook page… in the comments on other blogs and online forums?!

And then you proceed to wag your finger in my face and lecture me what’s wrong with hhcg.

    Un-freakin’-believable.

For the record, since you’re obviously not into reading before you leap — I do not now, nor have I ever… nor will I ever advocate homeopathic HCG (hhcg) nor will I be affiliated with any company that I know sells it. Pharmacy Escrow does not sell hhcg.

I suspect you’re just confused about the context for the word “drops.” The homeopathic HCG industry has co-opted the term when it used to mean sublingual Rx HCG. When Pharmacy Escrow uses the term “HCG drops” they’re referring to sublingual Rx HCG.

Now that you’ve realized the magnitude of your blunder, I’m wondering if you’ll have the stones to admit your mistake and apologize on the same stage you sought to chastise me.

Normally I like to keep the quality of my blog up and don’t allow screeds such as yours to get approved. But I wanted my subscribers and fans to get a peek at the kind of crap I have to deal with behind the scenes — the downside of what I do, if you will.

As far as unsubscribing, knock yourself out. I wish I did have a list with your name on it just so I could take you off it for your unprovoked, ignorant attack. Especially after all the help I’ve given you.

Perhaps you should fully read the material on a persons website before you make accusations. Read the blogs, check out the links, etc. If you want names of hhcg providers I can give you some. Walter is definitely not one of them. And for your information, I order from Pharmacy Escrow and my personal doctor tracks my results and lab work so I’m doing this without doctor approval

  • Sahm

Walter, you just made my day lol. You have never ever ever ever promoted homeopathic drops…I take sub-lingual Rx drops and I can see how someone can misconstrue the word ‘drops’ but if you read just a little of your page – it is clear that you are against HHCG and all for the Rx ! Pharmacy Escrow and alldaychemist both DO NOT sell homeopathic – they dont have to – hcg is fda approved in India and Switzerland! Thanks for truly making me laugh out loud. Lets give the guy a break though – he obviously didn’t read your blogs before leaping and he just wanted to show his mind muscles… just needed to show his knowledge somewhere else…;)

    Duane, Dude:
It would take like five minutes reading any page on this site to realize what idiocy it takes to behave in the manner that you have, here. You have some serious apologizing to do, and I hope you smack yourself on the forehead once, good and hard, when you are finished actually doing your research. Wait, *gasp*, yes I said ‘research’… a good idea BEFORE you attack someone!
