Homeopathic HCG Diet Scam Claims Another Tragic Victim – Part 3

homeopathic hcg-hcg diet-hcg drops So, in Part 1 of Homeopathic HCG Diet Scam Tragically Claims Another Victim

I gave a reader the secret behind why she didn’t lose a lot of weight, was hungry all the time, had sugar cravings and now while in Phase 3 of her HCG Diet she can’t get her yo-yoing weight stabilized.

In Part 2 of Homeopathic HCG Diet Claims Another Tragic Victim I told her why she needs to see a doctor ASAP (she was on a VLCD for 43 days with no HCG to help her through the HCG Diet).

And answer her questions about two homeopathic companies selling “HCG” to unsuspecting HCG Diet’ers and how to spot when someone’s website is parsing their words so carefully, it would make Bill Clinton envious.

Here’s the final part (promise!).

I tell her where to get the best HCG, put the age-old shots vs sublingual question to bed, and reveal what my grads and I do to handle any sugar cravings — can’t call it an “addiction” anymore because none of us are!

> DO YOU HAVE A RECOMMENDED SOURCE FOR THE DROPS?

Since homeopathic “HCG” has totally co-opted the term “HCG diet drops,” then I need to ask if you’re talking about sublingual or homeopathic “HCG” when you say “drops?”

It used to be when someone said “HCG drops” they meant the real, pharmaceutical HCG hormone in sublingual form.

So here’s my help. For your next round, do yourself and your friend a favor and get real HCG and then and only then go on the HCG Diet.

It’s the HCG Diet so make sure it’s pharmaceutical HCG. Not “Real HCG”, not “Pure HCG” — get the real stuff that has an actual history of producing results from 60 years of the HCG Diet protocol.

I have a recommended HCG Diet supplier here: the good folks at Nu Image Medical.

The plan is to add more, if I could just find more reputable HCG Diet suppliers that I feel comfortable recommending. But up to this point, I haven’t found others I felt comfortable with and their HCG potency tested high enough. So for now, anyway, Nu Image are my go-to guys.

Their prices are good, though they are not the cheapest. That being said, they have the most reputable shipping, the best customer service and the highest potency HCG. That’s a winning trifecta in my book.

On that page you’ll also find instructions on exactly what to order. Gotta make sure you order enough HCG for 43 days on the HCG Diet. Don’t want to run out halfway through!

And mix up your own HCG Diet sublingual drops, don’t buy it pre-made. Why? Because you have no way of knowing what that company’s quality controls are and how old the formula is. Best to eliminate any variables whenever possible.

And you don’t need to go the shots route. I did the injections for my first 1.5 rounds on the HCG Diet and then switched to sublingual. There’s a myth floating around that injection HCG is more powerful than sublingual HCG. Also not true, but you have to make a key modification first.

From my experience, and backed up from the members’ experiences on their HCG Diet journeys, it’s pretty much the same.

Somewhere on this blog is a pretty funny story of how I had to marshal all my nerve to start giving myself shots on my first round of the HCG Diet and probably would still be in the bathroom if it weren’t for a helpful dental hygienist.

> ANY PROVEN IDEAS TO “CURE” THE SUGAR ADDICTION?

The way I see it, you don’t need to “cure” anything. Nine times out of ten, the physiological cause of sugar cravings are drops in your blood sugar level. A nice little handy-dandy trick I use (and it’s a HUGE hit with my HCG Diet Success Coaching Program members) is to put a little Stevia in my drinking water.

That keeps your blood sugar on a constant, even keel so it never dips, and if it doesn’t dip then you don’t crave sugar and don’t get so hungry that you binge. You may like it so well you’ll keep using it long after you leave the HCG Diet, as many of us have.

I’m thinking about coming out with a book, a workbook or something that not only corrects all the lies, misconceptions out there about the HCG Diet, but also shows people how to do their HCG Diet journey correctly so they lose the most amount of weight in the shortest time and then keep it off for good.

What do you think? Think there’s market for such a thing? Would enough people be interested?

Anyway, hope that helps. And if there’s something you need more on, sing out! I’ll do my best to help. I’ve taken the stand that obesity can be dramatically reduced in our lifetime and use the HCG Diet to do it. And tell some friends and send them here, because we can’t make that big of a difference alone. But together, we can move mountains.

Did you learn what you needed to know from all this? Lots more to come! Next week I’m exposing unscrupulous HCG Diet doctors and clinics and how they pad your bill, dilute their HCG and the dangerous perscription they give you to counter the watered-down HCG. Don’t wanna miss this one!

    Walter, Walter, Walter…

As someone who has already been duped once by weight loss scams (and lost $$$$), I find myself just a bit apprehensive about this diet too. How can one be sure, without doubt that they are not being scammed, even here?!?!?! Please understand, you seem like a great guy, but don’t they all. Do you get any kickbacks from Pharmacy Escrow?

I am a mom of 2 little toddlers (3 & 18 months) struggling to lose the extra 30 pounds gained between college and the two pregnancies. If convinced this is NOT a scam – should I do the 24 day diet or still go with the 43 day diet? Also, is their a diet meal plan or menu that goes along with the HCG drops? Thanks for your time …

    Hi Jenny,

    > I find myself just a bit apprehensive about this diet too.

I think a good, healthy dose of skepticism is great. I wish more people thought like you. The same apprehensions came up for me when I was making my decision to go on the HCG Diet so I can relate to what you are going through. But when I saw others getting those kind of results, I had to at least try it to see if it would work for me.

    > How can one be sure, without doubt that they are not being scammed, even here?!?!?!

You’re not going to like this, but how can one be sure of anything until you have experienced it for yourself? You can never be 100% sure nor lacking in doubt. It’s just not possible to know in advance of the actual experience. Nothing ventured, is nothing gained.

My blog is a place where I share my experience to help others navigate the HCG diet and get optimal results. When I discovered that not all HCG products produced the same result, I did more research and testing and found that Pharmacy Escrow’s HCG consistently produced the best results for HCG dieters.

I disagree with the info about homeopathis hcg not being as effective as the so call “real”. I have personally done this diet 3 times with homeopathic drops producing outstanding results as people who are using the real hcg.My metabolism did not slowed down but enhanced, as I have not gained but 3 lbs since I finished this diet 4 months ago, eating normally. Also, I have a lot of flab that is now gone,I am one that has done other diets and what disapointed me most was the loose flab and the rebound effect. So far, I am completely delighted with what hcg homeopathic drops have done for me, not to mention all the money I saved!

Of course you’re going to disagree, Veronica. But let’s disagree on the merits of the conversation. Since you “disagree with the info about homeopathic HCG not being as effective,” then you’re disagreeing with the last 150 years of science.

Are you really comfortable with that? I wouldn’t be. As I’ve reported on this blog, there are no scientific findings on homeopathy that prove it produces any effect greater than the placebo effect. Translation = it’s probably the placebo effect.

Your claims are anecdotal and do not reflect the majority of “results” produced by being on homeo HCG. I however, deal weekly with the results of unscrupulous homeopathic HCG sellers — the people who tried to do the HCG diet while on purified water with a thought in it. It’s too bad people like you don’t get that experience more often.

However, your claims ARE consistent with someone who sells it.

Do you, if fact, sell homeopathic HCG, Veronica? We don’t know if you took other things to supplement your homeo HCG or not, and we never will, I suspect. So while your claims are interesting, they can’t be verified and thus must be help in the same skeptical regard science places homeopathy.

And as for the saving money gig, you really didn’t save that much money, so that’s another straw man argument right there.

But feel free to prove me wrong, Veronica. Show me how wrong I am. Pull up some scientific citations that prove homeopathy works and I’ll post there here and publicly eat crow.

And while we’re on the subject of proving things — I’ve shown you mine (Before & After pics), how about you show me yours. Surely, if homeopathic HCG worked so well for you and you’ve kept the weight off, that shouldn’t be a problem.

    Looking forward to your reply.

  9. Kathy says:

Walter, I want to thank you for your guidance. I read your site and realized I had been duped by hHCG. I really hate the feeling of being duped!

Here is my experience with “Round 1” –

My 16-year-old daughter and I started the HCG diet together. The first few days we were doing okay and losing a little bit. It all went downhill from there, and I don’t mean the weight. We didn’t cheat and we tracked every single morsel we ate.

On Day 11 – I had lost a total of 7.4 lbs. Most days I lost less than a pound.

I rode my bike to work…only 3 miles. It was torture! There were times I almost had to stop and just walk – even on the flat parts. This is not like me! I am not new to cycling. I have frequently done 25 mile rides.

As the days passed I became GROUCHY, tired & WEAK! The cravings for carbs escalated to the crazed status. When my daughter stood up too quickly she got dizzy and nearly collapsed. Why did 3 members of my extended family have success? Why do I suck? I am not going to stick to a VLCD if it prevents me from doing the things I enjoy – especially physical activities. I am not going to put my daughter’s health in danger. But we don’t want to be quitters.

On Day 12 – I GAINED .02 lbs. It is hardly anything…but what the $#@!&.

I couldn’t finish my morning interval training. I was tired, grouchy, weak, starving and *crazed* and still I GAINED weight?!?!? I re-evaluated the plan. Did I miss something? Did I cheat somehow? NO – not even a little. I came to the conclusion that either this diet is a farce or – could it be – the drops aren’t working. I remember reading the drops can be tested by putting them on a pregnancy test. So I ran to the store and got a test kit. The test results were NEGATIVE. I went to my brother’s house and I tested his drops. Again, negative results.

When I got to work I spent hours searching for answers. I searched for possible reasons for feeling like crap. I searched for reasons for the drops to not be working. My search eventually led me to GutlessinSeattle.com. AHA! There is something wrong with the DROPS! After reading every post on the site I called my daughter and told her to STOP taking the FAKE drops. We were going to have to start over.

I ordered the recommended supplies and now we wait. Three days later I have gained back 3.5 of the 7.4 pounds while eating approximately 1500 calories a day.

At first we were angry that we wasted that time and had to start over. Ultimately, we were grateful we didn’t waste more time or cause more harm to ourselves.

Thank you so much for the guidance that I didn’t find ANYWHERE else!

I am cautiously optimistic about “Round 2”.

Let’s put the past behind you and make sure you rock it on Round 2. Deal?

I have been on the Homeopathic spray since the 10th of September. I am SWITCHING to the REAL HCG! Will I need to load again? Or should I just stop one and start the other when the order arrives?? Once you placed your order how long did it take to arrive?

  14. Coach Walter says:

    Hi Joyce,

    > I have been on the Homeopathic spray since the 10th of September.
Not continuously I hope! Egads! Yes will need to load again. In fact, just pretend that you were never on the HCG Diet using the hhcg spray because you were actually on the starvation diet w/no HCG.

If you get the expedited shipping most folks have it w/n 2 weeks. That’s for Pharmacy Escrow, though most reputable companies have something close to that time frame.

  15. Coach Walter says:

That’s not true and you know it. Having run the test on several different homeopathic (non)HCG products I can tell you that the strip NEVER comes up positive. Nice try, though. Perhaps YOU get different results because you use “homeopathic science.” An oxymoron if there ever was one.

And fire that “doctor” while you’re at it (if there actually is one). Any medical professional that sanctions people under his or her care to be on a starvation diet with a voodoo water placebo, should lose their license for malpractice.

And you’re deluded. You homeopathetics always hurl that “you’re not a doctor” thing at me like it’s an insult. It’s not. It’s a statement of fact and moreover, I never claimed to be one, so what’s your point?

You use and/or sell voodoo water that you’re too ignorant to know that it doesn’t work because it can’t.

    Wise up.
