Homeopathic HCG Diet Scam Claims Another Tragic Victim – Part 2

homeopathic hcg-hcg diet-hcg drops In Part 1 of Homeopathic HCG Diet Scam Tragically Claims Another Victim

I gave you the secret behind why she didn’t lose a lot of weight on her HCG Diet, why she was hungry all the time, why had sugar cravings and now while in Phase 3 she can’t get her yo-yoing weight stabilized.

If you missed it, you may want to read that first before reading this next part.

I’ll wait. 😉

All done? Good, let’s continue on, shall we?

Btw Judy, you never said how much weight you lost and usually that means it wasn’t as much as it should have been. I’m guessing you lost well below the average HCG Diet loss of 20-30 pounds.

In fact, with the homeopathic version, it usually averages out to be less than a pound a day for those 6 weeks.

That sucks.

On the bright side, you should be glad that you didn’t lose more weight because… that could have endangered your health even more than you have already. And as I told the guy in the case study; I really hope that, if you didn’t go to a doctor before you began, then do so immediately because the weight you lost on this homeopathic HCG Diet was mostly from muscle and other vital tissues. You need to get that rectified ASAP!

Sorry to sound so alarmist, but you don’t want to screw around with your health. If one of my HCG Diet Success Coaching members had done this while I was coaching them, I would have piled them into the car and drove them to the doctor myself. That’s how seriously I take this.

If it has no HCG hormone in it, why are you doing the HCG Diet?

Now, since homeopathic “HCG” is not real HCG and has no real Rx HCG in it, then basically your HCG diet journey was a 43 day starvation diet (VLCD – Very Low Calorie Diet) without the tool that makes that kind of diet work — the HCG.

Without real HCG fueling your HCG Diet, there was nothing telling your body to burn only the storage fat and leave the vital fat and muscle tissues alone.

I know that doesn’t sound very scientific. While I could detail the science for you, if you’d like, I find most people’s eyes start to glaze over midway.

There was nothing supplementing your nutritional requirements during your HCG Diet by flushing nutrient-rich fat into your bloodstream to add 2,000 calories to the 500 of your daily allotment.

And I’ll bet you weren’t able to do that VLCD unless you cheated. A lot. I’m not pointing fingers, it’s good that you did cheat on this round of the HCG diet. It probably kept something more serious from happening on your HCG Diet journey.

> Drops from Mediral International Denver, CO

Lol. Yes, I know them. I’ve received several curt emails from them since I posted the homeopathic HCG Diet expose series. They think I’m the Anti-Christ.

But my offer to them stands and I’ll say it here publicly for the first time — if they can prove that I was inaccurate in anything I said about their version of the HCG Diet, then I will not only print a public retraction on this blog, I’ll also tweet my mistake and plaster it across Facebook, as well.

So far, no takers. Not even from their legions of affiliate salespeople — you know, those people responsible for clogging up Twitter with their automated tweet spam for HCG Diet drops. That tells you something, doesn’t it?

As John Quincy Adams was fond of saying, “Facts are stubborn things.”

> Friend uses “pure HCG” from pureh2oforhealth.com

This site is a total scam and one of the biggest HCG diet B.S. rackets out there. Despite their protestations, They are selling homeopathic HCG. And you don’t even have to read between the lines very hard to catch it. They spend 3/4 of the page going on and on about how they sell “REAL” HCG. Then they turn around and say it’s not homeopathic because they don’t use alcohol in the solution.

Bottom-line, there’s still no hormone in there fueling the HCG Diet.

The homeopathic hcg protocol is one of the biggest crocks foisted on the buying public. It is still, by common scientific definitions a homeopathic substance. Makes me wonder if ex-President Clinton is their PR guy. Sure sounds like a version of “It depends on what your definition of is, is” doesn’t it?

Next up, the third and final part where I tell her where to get the best HCG for a successful HCG Diet, I put the age-old shots vs sublingual question to bed, and reveal what my members and I do to handle any sugar cravings on or off the HCG diet. Can’t call it an “addiction” anymore because none of us are.

‘Til next time… Stay Gutless.

    Dear Ms. Jung,

Thank you for your inquiry. Mediral’s Weight Loss Formula does not contain HCG, it isn’t supposed to. During the processing of a homeopathic remedy, it is repeatedly diluted so the active ingredient is no longer present.

This is a custom item that we manufacture for our clients, there is no clinical research on this item. If you are working with a healthcare professional, I would continue to trust their judgment and protocols – as long as their clients are getting results you are looking for.

I am not familiar with Walter of http://gutlessinseattle.com, but he has not contacted Mediral.

    Hi!

Have been taking the Mediral Weight Loss Formula (HCG) since January, with a 6-week break in-between; initally lost approx. 20 pounds, but this second go-around I have struggled with hunger and sugar cravings — no weight loss due to “cheating” to curb hunger and cravings. Got back on track yesterday and my weight was down just shy by 1/2 pound of the weight level I was during the first 43 days of the plan.

Recently a friend told me about GutlessinSeattle so went to his website and he decries the validity of the Mediral Weight Loss Formula and says it does not contain HCG. Also he said he asked Mediral to counter his claims and prove it has HCG in it. He said so far, no takers. He said we need to take pure HCG. He also decried pureh2oforhealth’s PURE HCG.

What is the truth? Is there HCG in this formula? Given I follow the plan accurately I am losing stored fat, not structural and vital fat, correct? The hypothalamus should be reset by the end of each 26 or 43 day HCG go-around, right? Help!!

You doubted me, Judy? Oh, now I’m hurt! 😉

Well, at least now you know. And you got it straight from one of the biggest manufacturers of homeopathic products in the world (if not the biggest) — It. Has. No. HCG. In. It.

Now, to the subject of today’s post which is Part 2 of my reply to you. Now that you know I know what I’m talking about, then wouldn’t you agree that some significant portion of your weight loss may have structural muscle and white fat (the “good” stuff)? A trip to the doctor just to make sure everything’s okay couldn’t hurt. Also wouldn’t hurt for your friend to go, either.

Hopefully this has been an eye-opening experience and you will help spread the word so others can learn from your experience — to quit throwing their money at these scams!

    > I am not familiar with Walter of http://gutlessinseattle.com, but he has not contacted Mediral.

LOL… what did you expect him to say? Do you have any idea how much these exposes are costing all the homeopathic companies? I used to have this funny little clip from their website urging their resellers and affiliates to quit claiming homeopathic HCG and pharmaceutical HCG produce the same results. If there’s any interest, I’ll scour the hard drive and see if I still have it.

Judy, now that you know that you didn’t achieve your weight loss with HCG, what’s changed for you? Talk to me.

You’re such a sweetheart, Gloria of Issaquah. You’ve got that Lawrence of Arabia thing going on with the name, don’tcha?

    > do you have classes?

Not as such. The grads (they named themselves that after I balked at “students”) were just folks I informally coached — first it was friends who saw how much weight I lost and how fast, then it became friends of the friends and out from there.

And interestingly enough, the circle widened dramatically the longer I’ve kept it all off.

I am thinking of coming out with a book, course or something that codifies everything I’ve learned from my own experiences and what I’ve learned from the grads. I’m very grateful for the grads’ willingness to do some minor, controlled experimenting on what worked and what didn’t. We exploded a lot of myths, misconceptions and downright lies about the HCG protocols and diet.

So what do you think? Is there a market for something like this? Think people are interested? Does the world really need yet another weight loss thingamajig?
